Our Wedding

Like many great love stories, this one was unexpected. In the summer of 2019, Merissa and Marco were both working at the courthouse in Brampton. Merissa was a Court Clerk and Marco, a Court Reporter. At times they were scheduled to work in courtrooms side by side, but they never crossed paths.That changed on March 6th, 2020. Merissa began working in Toronto, and Marco in Newmarket, when by chance, Marco was asked to cover a courtroom for one day, in Toronto. The courtroom happened to be the one Merissa was assigned to.They got to know each other that day; notes were passed, conversations were had - one of them came back early from lunch to chat and the other "forgot" to return their access pass after work, to continue their conversation. To make things even more interesting, they found out that they both applied to law school, and soon after, they were accepted to the same one.Since then, their journey has taken them through five incredible years, four cities, and two law schools. A journey filled with an immense amount of love, laughter and growth.Now, they can’t wait to begin this next chapter in their lives and celebrate it with all of you.

CEREMONY TIMING

Please note that our wedding ceremonies will start promptly. We kindly ask that our guests arrive with enough time to be seated before the start of our Hindu and Catholic ceremonies.
